NYC Wedding at The Manhattan Penthouse

Bride & groom wedding ceremony at The Manhattan Pethouse

Jessica looked gorgeous in her ball gown while exchanging vows with her groom.

The Manhattan Penthouse, occupies the entire floor of a historic building, located on the world-famous Fifth Avenue!

For city slickers like Thomas and Jessica, the Manhattan Penthouse was a wonderful location for their autumn wedding. With 360 degree views, stretching from Wall Street to Times Square, sleek wooden flooring and Palladian style windows, your guests will be in awe! You can see the New World Trader Center when looking out of the South windows and The Empire State Building when looking out of the North windows, offering the best of both worlds in NYC.

This venue holds up to 200 people. Wanting the same penthouse-loft feel but have a smaller guest list? No problem! The Alger House is Manhattan Penthouse’s sister venue, catering to more intimate events, with enough space for up to 80 people.

wedding dancing at the manhattan penthouseDJ Enrique and MC Jacob got this party started on the right foot and introduced the parents of the couple to “Earth, Wind and Fire” by September and the bridal party danced their way in to Zedd featuring Ariana Grande’s “Break Free”.

At this point it was time for the bride and groom to make their way into the reception and were announced in to “Levels “By Avicci!

The night started off with the bride and groom having their first dance to the song “Find You” by Zedd’s acoustic version.

Dancing Fun with MC Jacob At The Manhattan PenthouseJessica later danced with her father to country singer Tim McGraw’s song “My Little Girl”, followed by her dance with her step-father to another country tune by the Rascal Flatts, called “My Wish”.
The couple kept to the country theme while dancing with their parents. The groom then danced with his mother to Kenney Chesney’s “Don’t Blink”. All of these songs were sure to bring up memories and were the perfect song choices for this couple and their parents!

The crowd was excited and was ready to dance the night away. The couple had a liking for 80’s music and disco and BTL DJS had the perfect selection while also mixing in current favorites.

Unique place cards at nyc wedding

the couple decided to have NYC metro cards be the place cards for the guests!

Fun Story: Thomas and Jessica met while on the subway. Thomas thought she was beautiful but didn’t speak to her on the train. Fate would have it that the two were on their way to the same party in Times Square and it was there that Thomas decided to speak to Jessica! To highlight the way they met and their NYC theme, the couple decided to have NYC metro cards be the place cards for the guests! The night ended on a classic note to Frank Sinatra’s famous song “New York, New York”.

The Manhattan Penthouse is an awesome location for your guests long after your wedding is over. If you want the festivities to continue on, 230 Fifth has an incredible rooftop bar as well for your after party where your friends and families can continue to celebrate! Union Square is also only one block away! There is also an array of hotel choices to pick from in the nearby area including but not limited to, Hotel 373, Ace Hotel, Andaz Hotel and Langham Place.
