Wedding at Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, NYC

Cake cutting with bride & groom at Loeb Boathouse

Justin and Sarah had an elegant four-tiered wedding cake and their cake cutting ceremony was accompanied by the appropriate song “Sugar” by Maroon 5.

Nothing says ‘NEW YORK’ quite like Central Park.

Guests laughing and enjoying themselves during the outdoor cocktail hour.

A filming location for the famous movies When Harry Met Sally, Little Manhattan, Sex and the City and many others, The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park is a classic venue and was the perfect choice for Justin and Sarah’s early summer wedding. Offering a great balance of bustling city energy and natural surroundings, it is hard to beat the unique location of this venue.

The bride and groom had a perfect summer day for their June wedding reception. With a beautiful outside area for the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the fresh air, food, cocktails and of course the views of the lake. Surrounded by trees, flowers and plants this cocktail area is stunning.

Choosing the right songs and ‘reading the crowd’ is crucial to having a fun, upbeat wedding. BTL DJS accomplishes this task perfectly with their events and this event was no different! This couple opted for a day-time wedding. Many couples worry about setting their reception for day-time hours, believing they may not get the “party vibe” they are hoping for.

This is no obstacle for BTL DJS! With their expertise being in helping to create an unforgettable party, BTL accomplishes this each and every time, regardless of the time of day. Picking a variety of songs by artists including but not limited to Coldplay, Rihanna, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Calvin Harris guaranteed that everyone in the room was having a great time and on the dance floor.

Sarah and Justin danced for the first time as husband and wife to “Too Marvelous for Words” and Sarah danced with her father to “The Way You Look Tonight”, both by Frank Sinatra.

When heard into the future, these songs are for sure going to bring many special memories to mind for this couple and their families. During dinner, guests were entertained by instrumental pop songs that kept a light and fun vibe going.

Wedding on the Golf Course at the Mansion at Timber Point

bride and groom photo shoot on the golf course at mansion at timberThere’s no reason the bride and groom can’t have it all on their big day, just like Brian and Bella on October 24, 2015. The groom wanted to incorporate sports while the bride wanted the height of elegance. And they got both.

With photo sessions on the golf course and a football on the wedding cake, the sporty atmosphere was present throughout the occasion. But the beautiful venue Mansion at Timber Point in Great River, New York was also classy with full table settings, flowers, candles and the works.

The bridal party entered the reception to the instrumental version of “What My Age” by Blink 182 and the newlyweds later danced to “Calling You” by Blue October.

Song choices are of the utmost importance for a wedding reception.

bride and groom first dance at the mansion at timberThese are songs every bride and groom will remember for the rest of their lives.

When this couple hears “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” they’ll think of the bouquet toss at their wedding. When Sheryl Crow comes on the radio to sing “Sweet Child of Mine,” the groom will remember his dance with his mom.

Manhattan wedding DJ BTL DJS can help you set up the perfect soundtrack for your big day from start to finish. Not only will you choose songs you will remember forever, but you can also get linked up with everything else you need to make the day something you will never forget.

New York Harbor Wedding on the Aqua Azul Yacht

Bride and groom with DJ Erique Colon on the Aqua Azul yacht NYCWhen you have a bride from West Virginia, and a groom from New York City, there’s nothing better then sailing away on your wedding night.

That’s exactly what bride Megan, and groom Brandon did on the Aqua Azul, a 120 foot yacht which sails out from Chelsea Piers in New York City.

They entered into a night of celebrating and memory making, with the magnificent New York City skyline as a backdrop.

The Classic BTL DJ package, which included a DJ, MC, and light show provided entertainment for the night, was led by DJ Enrique and MC Jonathan. Guests and the happy couple, danced the night away to some of the music greats, including, Earth Wind and Fire, The Temptations, KC and The Sunshine Band and Aretha Franklin.

With bride, Megan, being a southern belle and having family from West Virginia in attendance it was no surprise when the crowd went wild, and spirits and excitement over flowed to what can only be referred to as a “10” while the DJ played, John Denver’s “Country Road”. This was a true highlight of the night, and perfectly orchestrated to bring out a little country in everyone.

Our Favorite Wedding Venue: The Midtown Loft and Terrace

People dancing at a wedding at the Midtown Loft and Terrace

One of the best parts about being a entertainment company is getting to play at some of the most amazing venues in New York City. One of our favorites is the Midtown Loft and Terrace, with a gorgeous rooftop and exquisite views of the Empire State Building, a wedding here is the definition of extravagance and elegance.

Our perfect wedding would pair this outstanding venue with some other personal favorites, which would include, catering from Pies & Thighs, a staple in Williamsburg and the Lower East Side, with fried chicken that will always leave you wanting more.

The bride and groom cut their wedding cake at the Midtown Loft and TerraceA cake, from Milk Bar, which will be everything you’ve ever dreamed of and of course, let’s not forget who coordinated this amazing wedding Tracey Goldstein from Polka Dot Events, whose attention to detail was evident throughout the night.

Not only can Manhattan wedding DJ Bigger Than Life DJS, send you to all the best vendors and sites, with years of experience we can provide creativity in helping choose the soundtrack to your perfect day. Bride, Haiyun and groom, Grant, experienced that first hand.

Working together on the perfect set list, their wedding day played out with an eclectic mix of songs to keep them dancing through the night. The introductions were playful, welcoming the parents of both the bride and groom with T.I. “Bring ‘Em Out” and the bride and groom themselves, to “Beyonce Crazy in Love.

Bride and goom dancing on the dancefloor and the Midtown LoftAs the bride and groom took their place on the dance floor, they took things down a notch and swayed to the emotionally sweet “First Day of my Life” by the Bright Eyes. To keep things fun, ladies danced and caught the bouquet to “It’s Raining Men”, and everyone watched the cake cutting to “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies.
Great food, drinks, and location, topped off by a soundtrack that you will never forget, this is our idea of the perfect wedding day.

Poconos Wedding at The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort

Young girls dancing on the dancefloor with special lighting effectsWedding Venue: The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort.
Location: Readers, Pa (Poconos Mountains)
Bride: Clarissa
Groom: Sean

Clarissa and Sean live in Brooklyn and work in New York City. Sean grew up in the Poconos so they decided to have the wedding in the Pocono mountains near Readers Pennsylvania. It was a 1 ½ Hour drive from New York City.

The Couple selected BTLDJS Grand Lighting Package which includes a DJ, MC, Classic light show and 15 wireless Led uplights.

Clarissa and Sean gave us a glowing review on the Wedding wire

Clarissa and Sean loved their wedding so much that they gave us this great review on wedding wire saying, We were very picky when selecting our DJ services because we knew that the music and dance experience was one of the most important on the wedding day; we wanted it to truly be a party! Enrique and Vince were very professional and accommodating when it came to our requests. We were very specific with the music we wanted played. My family is Dominican and my husband's family is Filipino; they were able to incorporate some Spanish music seamlessly to the reception music. They stuck to our Must Play list as well as our Do Not Play list. All songs played were mixed skillfully with smooth transitions. My guests were dancing the whole time and I was so excited to not see many people sitting down and on the dance floor instead! The MC had the perfect amount of involvement with our guests, they do exactly what you tell them you need for your wedding, whether it be a lot or no involvement. They also provided up-lighting for our reception and it was done very tastefully. Overall, when I think back to my wedding reception, I remember dancing non-stop and having a blast. Several of my guests said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding
